If the resignation is accepted, Chairman Jung Hae-sung, who was appointed as chairman of the Power Enhancement Committee in February, will leave without fulfilling his original mission of appointing coach Jurgen Klinsmann as a successor.

More than four months have passed since Klinsmann's dismissal, but the Korea Football Association has yet to appoint a successor. It has been a series of difficulties. The Power Reinforcement Committee can recommend a candidate for the coach to the association, but it has limitations in that it does not have the right to directly negotiate.
